Holiday Dining at Marianna’s in Phillipsburg, NJ
Holidays are some of the busiest days of the year at Marianna’s. Instead of the regular menu, the dining room usually serves a special fixed-price holiday menu built around the occasion, so families can celebrate without anyone spending the day in the kitchen. This page explains how holiday menus work, how to reserve a table, and what to expect, along with an example of a past holiday dinner menu.
How Holiday Menus Work
A holiday menu is a set, multi-course menu at a fixed price per person. A typical holiday dinner starts with a salad course served with Marianna’s homemade bread, followed by a choice of entrées and a dessert course, with separate child meal choices. For example, a past Mother’s Day dinner menu offered a classic house salad, a choice of six entrées including veal saltimbocca, grilled salmon, lobster alfredo, frutti di mare, braciole and an eggplant napoleon, and a choice of cannoli or a triple chocolate brownie for dessert.
Because the menu is focused on a smaller number of dishes, the kitchen can serve a full dining room while keeping every plate consistent. Holiday menus, dates and prices change from year to year, so the menu below is shown as an example only.

Reserving a Table for a Holiday
Online reservations are often blacked out on holidays. There may still be tables available, but on holiday and special event days reservations are taken by phone so that the host can confirm the time, party size and any special requests directly. Call 908-777-3500 to reserve, and plan to call early for the most popular holidays, such as Mother’s Day, Easter and Thanksgiving.
Tips for a Relaxed Holiday Meal Out
- Book early and be flexible on time. Earlier and later seatings are often easier to get than the middle of the day.
- Mention highchairs, gluten-free guests or birthdays when you reserve, so the table is ready when you arrive.
- Allow extra time for parking on busy days. The lot is in front of the restaurant, with more parking along the side next to the patio.
Holiday Parties and Holiday Catering
Hosting the holiday yourself? The catering menu offers trays of Italian specialties, entrées, salads and desserts, so you can serve a holiday spread at home without cooking it all. For office and group holiday parties, the Stockton Room (up to 50 guests) and Banquet Center (up to 200 guests) can be booked with the event and party packages, and a bar package can be added.
